Vintage, if my encouragement to Iza to continue posting even though some are quite unwelcoming towards her then yes, maybe I have egged her on. I have no problem with that.

Types of bullying
Bullies may use one or several types of bullying to hurt their victim.
Physical - pushing, shoving, punching, hitting, kicking, taking away a person's belongings (this may also constitute assault).
Verbal - name calling, banter, threatening, teasing, intimidating, yelling abuse, using put-downs.
Psychological - ganging up, preventing a person from going somewhere, taking a person's possessions, sending hostile or nasty emails or text messages.
Socially - excluding, alienating, ignoring, spreading rumours.
I was just thinking about this again...
I've already touched on the ignore feature provided by eBay, but now I am wondering about the section in "Socially" - "Excluding".....
If a person wanted to join one of the private groups here on eBay, if their application was not successful and they were purposely excluded from that group, would this be a form of bullying?
Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

You know now Iza you saying that some may think you hit the bottle before you post heaven forbid, which reminds me since it's so hot I might go buy some beer.
I made a post on a thread several weeks ago and it was inferred indirectly without naming me by someone that it wasn't myself posting that post, hate to disappoint them but incorrect 😄

It's amazing how a little to and fro can turn that frown upside down!!
I am sure the OP wouldn't have so much discomfort if she wasn't egged on by her friends!.... This of course results in a spiral which requires dissection and the eminent rescue and commiseration!!
It is a pattern!...... I see it constantly.
what nonsense!

How does one even know about these private groups? to be applying?
I would say no.... not bullying.... unless they are discussing you in there and you know about it. however, since it is private, how would you know?

Hello everyone,
Joz, I made a 'joke'....on your thread.
My sister who has no legs...makes jokes about being legless and shoe salesmen. It's harder for other people to hear I think than it is for her. That is her reality. She's cool with it...she just wishes everyone else would be too.
I'm OK with being a carer. It is part of my life and the life of my family.Yes, there can be difficulties...that's the way it is.
If any one else feels uncomfortable with that fact and they think by my even mentioning anything about it I am whinging or anything else or it is hard for you to hear about...please don't read.I have a disabled son and sister (currently in a nursing home) ...that's just my reality just as whatever your life is is yours.I will not hide it away and be made to feel my life is not acceptable because it is different to yours.
CM, It is interesting that you should say having a socially unacceptable trait encourages bullying (that's why we live away from other people...my eldest son) .
An interest in Law may very well be developed for personal reasons...say when someone was a CW for a VOC.
I think you are well aware of how people may react to various things....
Az pretty spot on..
I thought this could be discussed as a general topic.
I do or at least attempt to discuss other things .:-)
And that is why I come back here. My feelings exactly !
