Until such time as I see Iza initiating derogatory or nasty posts or making snide comments to other posters I will continue to support her right to post whatever she wishes to or contribute to any thread she chooses.
I do not see that as 'egging on' in any way.
I tend to scroll past cut and pastes and long diatribes and can usually ignore others whose posts are clearly intended to inflame. In this instance, I cannot 😐
You have said what I have been thinking all along...but more clearly:)

The issue of groups is one recommended by the mods to facilitate discussion between like-minded posters and avoid those posters that some may wish not to engage with.
Being denied access to any of those groups is not bullying imo, simply a recognition that those in the group have no wish to engage with an applicant who may have applied.

So, what about my example where a person applies to join one of the private groups but is excluded from joining?
I am not sure, I would not think it was....but didn't I address that earlier? I have not sought to join a group, had no idea you could but would not anyway......unless it was a special interest one. Sometimes groups end up worse than open posting I hear.

And again I agree with you.

That makes sense....

so ho0w then is that different from a group of children in the school yard excluding a child from their group with whom they have no wish to engage?
Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

If a person wanted to join one of the private groups here on eBay, if their application was not successful and they were purposely excluded from that group, would this be a form of bullying?
Wow, from the whinging about groups I've seen I'd say it was a lucky escape

Posters telling others to ignore comments by Iza........
I did that azureline** - not only to Iza but also to the posters whom I felt were harassing her.
I was simply reminding them of the option available to them if they did not like what Iza was posting and in Iza's case because the things that were being said were unacceptable and hurtful to her.

Crikey, I'm sure most boardies would know which members they enjoy chatting with and would be unlikely to apply to join one that was held by members that they didn't enjoy chatting with.
Except in cases such as the "no strings attached" group. I'm sure a fair few stringers applied to join that one just for a joke ;\
