Good afternoon all! Hi JVH good idea getting the work out of the way early to 'beat the heat' - sounds like you are very organized! Nice breeze here today - so got loads of washing out. Hi Dame hopefully a short 'work week' for you this week! Positive good wishes for Elly - hope it works out for her I really do. Hi kezza you have to be so careful with those railway tracks! My mother and my sister nearly collided with a train once as the bells failed to ring and the gates didn't close - such a close call. My friend who is an ambulance driver always gives way at crossings regardless of warnings which says a lot after all he has seen. Thank goodness you are ok! Yes Kezza please be careful...........i have a set of lights road lights just at the back of here and i always look before going through..........can sit in a coffee shop nearby and see someone run a light very often makes my stomach churn:)

Finally some time to myself!
Had a lovely time at Burns night on Monday night - big Scottish affair, with bagpipes - piping in the haggis, Robbie Burns poetry etc.
I actually ate some haggis - and ............it was ok:O - tasted like mince meat!
Stayed overnight in Sydney and drove back early Australia Day.
Been super busy with work the rest of the week - up at 3am and 5am to catch planes to various places of work and then 12 hour days!
My scatty cat decided I was a bad woman, for leaving him alone, and acted all disgusted - for about.......30 minutes - and has since been all sooky! LOL
Have just caught up with the thread - so ....
dame - lovely that your friend thought so much of you to give you a wonderful gift:-x
kezza - hope things have settled down with you young one, and you are feeling less aggravated - could you get a new mattress from Vinnie's or Sallie's? Best of luck with your studies
jvh - so sorry the heat is hitting you so hard :-(, but glad your son is settling in to his new home. You haven't mentioned Chrissy for a while so I hope she is doing ok?

Hugs Scatty and thanks for asking after Chrissie.......her pain meds were doubled recently and unfortunately of course with that comes side effects.........she is also very weak and her voice has weakened as well........dreadful to see what she is going through:(

Sounds like you are super duper busy having to go all over the country side to work.......hope you are taking some vitamins:)
