Sorry I have been missing in action Have been on iodine for thyroid - reacted very badly on Tuesday night - blood pressure through the roof, seeing double and terrible vertigo. Saw doctor yesterday morning - bed rest yesterday (supposedly LOL) and back to her today. I am heaps better than I was though. I will be fine but that night I thought I was a goner. Very scary. All is well now and blood tests show no permanent damage.

Well, I have decided to throw the towel in AND do my Masters in Social Work. you see I get Social Work the readings are mostly interesting, lol and I excell in English. so I can eventutally put these letters after my name MSW & BSW. I have sold all my books I know there are not much jobs in SW but I doubt I will always be in townsvilleand people are looked upon favourably for doing extra stuff at Uni. 2 girls I ran into today have no idea what there going on about either but they are gonna soilder through she has a good fiend so thats half the battle. Nursing is more science based nowadays Lily they say it went that way when more men joined the profession, lol. However it makes sense that Nurses are taught about cells when dealing with Cancers patients etc. I tell ya what I have a new appreciation for Nurses I'm ust too dumb to join them, lol. Also the classes aren't child friendly too much hassle when yr on yr own with kids and child care is too expensive. Maybe I'll have another go at 50 when I'm childless footless and fancy free, lol.

HUgs girl sorry it was so tough for you and so very very hard when you are trying to cope with a little one as well with no back up so to speak

Good morning all.

Been a busy couple of days. We finally picked up a generator yesterday, two new batteries for the fridge and freezer. Plus paid our return fare to the mainland. No wonder the bank account is now looking sad. But at least we had it there to use. Now we can go camp in some of the parks where they allow it.

We are off to Bruny Island today. Hoping for a nice sunny day.

We will leave Snug and head up the east coast on Monday. So looking forward to seeing a new area.
