I doubt there is a maximum permitted Iza, but if we're gonna post scrollers, we have to be prepared for people to scroll on by and not read them. So as has been said earlier, to gain maximum exposure and have as many people read your posts as possible, so they understand what we're trying to say and get our point, the best thing to do is to Edit/summarize and provide a link for those who are interested.
Otherwise, we just have to be prepared for not getting our point accross.

BTW, if you can get away with it, you can switch to Arial Narrow and it allows about another 100 words per page.
Doesn't help on assignments where the criteria is based on word count and specifically instructs you what font and size to use, but on some of my Legal Research Projects, the criteria has been a summary/critique etc contained withn no more than 2 A4 pages (including footnotes and intext referencing), and for some reason in for my Legal Research Work, we are not told font type, only size.
But I tell ya, I needed every one of those extra 100 words for my critique of the Privacy Issue Papers and the Ipp Report. It's not so bad for the Case Briefs, (Though Mabo and other Native Title cases were tricky) but the Proceeds of Crime Act, Sale of Goods Act, Defamation Act were almost impossible for me to critique in 2 A4 pages...but with the help of Arial Narrow, I managed 🙂

Sounds good Crikey.Well done 🙂
My eldest son's paternal Grandpa has that many thick books on the topic (they would be very outdated I suspect and no good to you unless you cover past investigation of police or something like that?...it's a pity they don't keep in contact with my son anymore. His Aunty is studying law too I think. She should do well 🙂

I often feel the same. Yet I don't think it's so much ignored as not being responded to.
I like to think people are amused or interested in my comments but don't necessarily have a response, and I'm not terribly worried.
Yep, sometimes there is nothing left to say....

LOLOL
Impossible that I hold the record. As I said earlier, when I make my scrollers, they generally only include MY work, or MY words -
Ah, I think she meant CatMad :^O
I never think of you as CM, don't know about the others but when I see CM it's usually re Cat, not catmioux either :^O

You also state that you reply to the post not the poster.
I do and I stand by that. It is what the post says that I comment on, not who posted it.

And to suggest that my impromptu scrollers could go anywhere near 8000 words is nonsensical - ROFL - It would take HOURS to write that many pages and it would have to be more than 15 A4 pages long as I average 560 words per page (size 11 Font Arial Regular).
Agree. Lot of buck passing going on, incorrect information as well.

Common sense dictates limits on post length usually and consideration for other posters.

Ever since I first saw you appear when Beanie's sister posted that she was very sick and that you thought the thread should be SR and people should post their wishes on the Adventures thread....that is all you have done to me.
Strange post, did I appear like by magic?
