Hi jvh - I expect with all that rain - not much golf happening?? I do hope your mum's place gets sorted - you are certainly right regards the 'blood sweat and tears!' - have a great day!!
Hi losta - yep with 10 (stars) you can chat happily away as often as you like. (Didn't go out to lunch yesterday - but the garden got done lol).
Bella good idea regards the mopping (or non-mopping!) Should be good for at least another 6 months (and no hanging out of washing!)
Hi pjbear - are you getting back into 'card making' and the like? I made one for my neice but it was very amateur (she loved my effort though).
Just finished babysitting my nephew (I volunteered wednesday's) - will pick my neice up later for a coffee and babycino - weather much friendlier today (28) - have a great day everyone!!

Well we will be moving on tomorrow to St Helens. Only park we could get into for $37 a night. 😮 Friday, we head to the Bay of Fires for 6 nights. Mainly need the park to do washing and have a proper shower and wash my hair. It really is lovely here. We are on the beach but protected from the wind. Lovely peace and darkness at night. Though I do not venture out at night. Have my own portable loo, thank good ness. Plus we have a shower and ensuite tent. So that is good.
Hope everyone is going well. Have a great evening.

Nice and sunny here and fingers and toes crossed that we have no rain next week so the old boy can go and chase little white balls..........hes a bit like a caged lion........and hoping now that the rain may have gone to get the tradies to start on Mothers roof etc........place has asbestos guttering........what a performance that is....of course some tradies quoting wanted to charge for scaffolding which puts another 2 gs onto the job.......but can be done harness style thereby saving 2 gs. Some tradies that i have dealt with over my long life really are off the wall.....have always when getting work done handed them a job sheet complete with photos and gone through it bit by bit.......that way they can never say you never said that:)
Have a good day everyone im off to do a mountain of washing:)

Good luck with the work on your mums house. It's interesting that Tradies can vary so much in quotes. Where we are they are shocking, don't turn up, can't do the job etc etc Anyway good luck I feel your pain with that but hope it all comes together for you and mum.
It's looking like we will finally get some rain here yay!!!!!! 🙂
Off for coffee and cake this morning.....
Have a great day all 🙂
