Hi JVH - yes the storms here yesterday were terrible and there's evidently more on the way! I was driving home in it yesterday (from my shop lol) - no damage to the house thankfully and some awesome lightening shows across the water. Hope you are safe too!

Hi losta - yes I hail from Melbourne. I do believe Darki is from the lovely Tasmania. I love this wonderful country - had hoped to head up to Rutherglen (wine country) however our favorite b & b was fully booked this weekend. (I like the 'champagne room!)

Evening all. Welcome to our new posters.

Well it is raining here. Just got cleaned up after dinner and down it came. At least I do not need to go out again tonight. R does as he has to close down the generator and lock everything up in the ute. Oh joy.

Doubt we will do much if anything tomorrow as the forecast is for rain. At least we are dry and warm. Plus well fed. had tandoori chicken with rice and grilled vegs for dinner. Very yummo. Last night I made pasties in the barbie. Turned out very well. Bought myself the Symply too Good to be True cook books. Got one more to get and then I have the set. They have great recipes in them and are all low fat. Which is great for us.
