I remember when we were kids my Dad loved mutton birds.........and Mum would cook them for him.........she put and extension cord out the window and cooked them outside because of the smell.

We ate fish quite a bit when we were growing up.

We used to go fishing with Dad one weekend.....and then went shooting the next.....being the only girl I had to do all the "boys" things.............in fact I preferred it.

It was only 1 degree when we took the grandchildren to school today.........they had pyjama day at school today.............they were so excited............they seemed to think that they were not going to have to do any work today because they were in their pyjamas

I've never heard of a pyjama day, but it sure sounds fun. I remember in primary school accidentally wearing my PJ bloomers underneath my uniform, so embarrassing lol. Do you remember those puffy bloomers girls used to wear? So horrible :^O

At my high school we had tartan ones for gym uniform, yuk!

they seemed to think that they were not going to have to do any work today because they were in their pyjamas

I bet the teachers are laughing today, seeing all the kids in their best PJs. Flashie did the teachers have to wear pyjamas too?
