no not you kezza, not you at all...

hows things on the work front
A home without a cat is just a house!!

Sorry mate, for assuming.
I know I've been called a few names for having a mental illness, schizo and the like
I applied for a few jobs this year but havent heard from them. I'm gonna do some volunteer work with the elderly, still applying for jobs though.
I have told a few people in this town in my industry about my conditions and I think word has gotten round a lot of people dont understand Mental Illness u see they havent watched a beautiful mind, lol.
I'm doing some further study soon.
I'm off to watch MKR :-x

PJ you are SEEING things...the thread you are referring too had no-one laughing at the nick-name "Wheels" or thinking it funny. If others hadn't jumped on the post most people would have ignored it.

If you don't like it tell JustDuff, but like most teasing it is best ignored.

JV I am sorry for posting this in your thread but this is where PJ chose to bring her issues and she is falsely accusing others.

I apologise to everyone else on this thread:-x

I agree kezza, there is not alot of understanding or compassion for those with a mental ilness, its sad that people with a mental ilness are put under the same banner, and are all thought to be aggressive and uncontrolabe and please excuse the expression "a real nut job" but i think most would know what I mean, there are so many areas of Depression/mental illness that are not thought about properly, and is still a very taboo topic......

but I have also been called names, (not just here) but at school and college and when I was at work , all to do with being disabled and ,blind in the one eye...
The thing thats hardest tho is the lack of understanding that lots of the time physical disabilities and depression go hand in hand....

heres a thought ,have you thought about doing PC work? getting in contact witha few agencies like Calvary Silver Circle , Dom care ect, you may need a current first aid certificate, which I think I remember you have , and also cert 3 in aged care, but you can get that while training and working? thats just a thought, not sure if thats what you want to do, but you seem really ready and interested to work with people..I know that the agency Calvary Silver Circle are always looking for people, so maybe give them a try!!
Good luck with the studies hon, and remember you are just as important as anyone and at least you are out there doing something..hang in there girl!!

OK PJ then ignore it.

What about the issue of people finding it funny?? I see no evidence of that in the thread??

Or can you not find it either??
