Yes, she was rude... but really ???  you say "You are a rude, inconsiderate *female dog*.:O You just made yourself as rude as her. Had you left off the descriptive word, you would have been a cut above her, imo.

I think this thread is a good one.....it is interesting how people perceive things. I don't make scenes in shopping centres or car parks, don't comment on anyone's child etc.

Yes i would have as i am not naive enough to think they dont hear worse at school. But, i do know they are smart enough to never use any type of bad language around me.

No of course it's not ok to call you bogan or feral....rude yes, but that is my opinion. You would have been the better person to have said nothing.

I probably would have told her she was inconsiderate /ignorant, i wonder if she had been elderly if you would have still called her what you did?

I just entered a round a bout and could have caused a collision. If it weren't for the fact that it is raining and the round a bout is just tiny, meaning the other car was going pretty slow - he would have hit me.Yes, it was my fault - he was on my right and I should have given way.

It made me think of this thread.

Naturally, after I braked, I looked at him and was very apologetic and said "I'm really sorry" (though our windows were wound up, so he wouldn't have heard - but would have seen iykwim.)

I was expecting abuse - he smiled and waved (in a nice way - I didn't get the impression he was being sarcastic iykwim) and said "it's ok love - no harm done". (yes, I can lip read).

i'm not sure why it is so difficult to believe that there are ppl who would not react the same way.

i swear, probably too much, usually while cooking.  i called a jar of sun dried tomatoes a SOB because it wouldn't open.  But for some reason i could not bring myself to say what Amy did to a stranger in a similar situation especially when she was running and apologising at the same time. Of course she only apologised because she was "caught".  Why else would she have to?  Although, and I have seen it happen, she could have left a note on Amy's car saying she would only be a few mins if for some reason she felt she had no other choice.  At least Amy would have been aware that the person is not far and would be back shortly.

We obviously have differing opinions on how we would handle a situation like this. With all this talk these days about road rage and carpark rage ect,don't you think it's situations like this and the abuse thrown that aggravates these situations. Maybe by just telling her it wasn't the right thing to do she may have just gotten the message and thereby avoiding all the rage.
