your selfishness has kept me waiting here with my baby."
There was one child who is under 2 and doesnt talk and was happily eating a biscuit.
So waiting 9mins with a child (who is closer to 2yo than 1yo) who was quite happy and eating a biscuit wasn't a problem anyway.
How do you know the other carparks available were empty at the particular time that woman arrived in the car park?

but i use one "swear" word at and im a bad example.
It's not just the bad language that children copy but as I said its the aggression and the way parents express themselves these days. Everything we do is mimicked by our children, they learn who they are through us.

I agree with you DDB, she was being very selfish, what if you had to pick up a child from school at a certain time etc and u are stuck there because of her selfish actions? We can all lose our cool especially if it's hot.
I dont care what people think about what i did. I just thought it might be of interest to some
Im sorry for posting something about my day as opposed to maybe another political thread.
As for that word being a swear word...i wouldnt even count it as one, compared to the other words that people use in everyday conversations now.
What this woman did was, imo, a female doggy thing to do, so the name suited.

You can get stuck in traffic, held up by car accident etc when you are on your way to school and be late, things happen, we can't control the whole universe to suit our need.
This episode didn't make DDB late for anything.

am3- as i said, i was there early, as the shops were opening. I was leaving an hour later. The car park was not full..
Love the way some are defending the womans actions.
Ummm hello, she was parked illegally. She was in the wrong.

complain to others saying what? "oh I bloked this woman and her child in for 9 minutes in the heat so that I didn't have to waste time parking and she called me a .....", I don't think so......I'm pretty sure most others would say well you copped your right whack.
I would have done as you did, DD without the expletive. You gave her an excuse to go home, or back to work and complain to others, about someone who called her a name...... that might just justify her behaviour, in her mind.

Not defending the woman, but really waiting 9mins is not a catasrophe.
Of more concern is not keeping a mobile phone charged up. Especially as you have a small child out with you when you go out in the car (what would you do if your car broke down on the street somewhere?) and as you have children at school ( if school wanted to contact you if one was sick and needed picking up and you were out with a dead mobile).
