I believe it is an error within ebay and due to a seller changing a listing, and it was not updated by eBay allowing me to buy.

Please see my previous post - and others, outlining what grouped listings are, as well as the information about revisions the seller has made to the listing, which are viewable via the listing itself.

The reason for the confusion has been explained, and it is not due to anything the seller did. It is due to eBay displaying a single title on grouped (multiple) listings from different sellers for the same item, but not necessarily the same quantity of said item.

Hi there,

For this listing there was no drop box for changing quantities to purchase.  The Seller did have separate listings for both 4 and 10 items.

Interestingly the sale does not come up in my purchase history but I have an email which I was asked to leave feedback.

Thanks for everyones help, requested a call from ebay now.

Ok thanks Digital*Ghost I kind of get it.  I hope it can be sorted out.

Perhaps a page with a collection of different listings and their prices could help the buyer.  Been told that ebay will go through and provide me with the promised loyalty voucher.  Thanks again for peoples interest and comments on my issue, all the best.

As digital*ghost said, it's a composite listing and the title is made up of a combination of the words found in several listing titles, even though it shows a seller's details as though it's their listing. As was said, ebay have done this very poorly and in my opinion you shouldn't be able to buy from these listings, but instead should be forced to click on the link to see the relevant (real) listings. In this case the link says "see all 2 brand new listings".
