Although I am a bit confused about part of the OP's original post:

If a seller goes to post their items and sees they are from the one buyer and for delivery to the same address, I don't mind them combining into one satchel and them having a little win on the postage $.

If he doesn't mind, what is this whole thread about?

@curraone

what we don’t know is the OP’s definition of “a little” in relation to shipping overcharging  We do know that $13 does not fit that definition.

I think many buyers have blinkers when they assess the postage cost.  I can’t even hazard a guess at the number of times I’ve read posts on these boards from buyers complaining that “postage was as much as the item”, especially when buying from overseas.

When has shipping cost has ever been tied to the value of the item being shipped? . . . . especially when a buyer gets that once in a lifetime, rare, mint in box, never opened, super rare item at a bargain price and then they complain that shipping cost outstrips item price even though the costs of shipping are known before buying and they got the item at a fraction if it’s real value (see spoiler below).  It seems the blinkers go on and if shipping cost approaches item cost a trigger goes off in the brain and the buyer becomes outraged by the seller’s shipping cost.
