I honestly do not know of many pages without ads that waste space and time
Hence why ad blockers are around
I have the NBN which is total bs, so even with a proper ad blocker, I can only dream of something loading within five seconds

I downloaded Tubular Bells (amongst many others) from Napster.
I had a you beaut 33.6k modem on a Pentium 133 running Win 95, which was cutting edge in 1996. Left it going overnight and ended up taking a tad over 12 hours. Can't remember the file size.
I was getting the Plus banner, but it seems to have disappeared. Which is good, because my modem died yesterday and USB Dongle modems are apparently so 2019, and I'm running my computer internet through my phone. Which is slow and rips the backside out of the phone battery.

I use NBN, fortunately the node is very close, but 25 Mbps download speed is the max, the original fibre to the premises of Labor would have given me 1000Mbps speeds, no chance of that now

Intel 80286
Netcomm 2400bps modem
BBS only. Internet not even invented.
Did anyone else see 'Valley of the Boom' on SBS recently and the Netscape, 'browser wars' ?
