Found a bleep loophole 😎

The order where the goods never arrived was before Covid. The more recent different order had a delivery period of 4/5/20-23/6/20 so I still have hopes it will arrive one day. Perhaps that is effected by covid. They say they dispatched it 16/4/20 from China.

An item sent from China mid-April should pretty much have arrived by now, although two weeks beyond the estimated delivery range isn't that much of a stretch given the delays being experienced earlier in the year.

 

In the early days of COVID-related postage delays, there was an anecdotal report on here from someone who (from memory) had some kind of insight or connection to an AP sorting centre, and they were saying in AP prioritising domestic shipments, all the small packets and parcels sent from Asia were literally being piled up somewhere out of the way to be dealt with once things had quietened down.

 

I have no idea if it was true, but it sounded true enough the way it was described. And lot of sellers on here who source their items from China couldn't get replacement stock to sell for a very long time, and were losing out on sales because of it.

 

If your item does arrive in the coming weeks, please do report back and say so as it all helps to paint a picture of where things are at and informs the community and other buyers who come looking for answers later.

Needless to say he didn't get feedback from me, but he was over the moon that the item had finally arrived. I suspect the messages from me were far more important to him than a coloured dot on his feedback tally 4channel.............

I bought an item from Ukraine on 17 March and it finally arrived yesterday, another item from the same seller was sent 21 April and still hasn't arrived. I've been in contact with the seller and refunded his refund made to me for the first item.

 

Needless to say he didn't get feedback from me, but he was over the moon that the item had finally arrived. I suspect the messages from me were far more important to him than a coloured dot on his feedback tally 4channel.............

I'll take your bait padi*0409. Actually feedback may have been beneficial for this Ukrainian seller. many people are cautious about dealing with sellers in East Europe and former Soviet Union countries. A simple "Item arrived in Australia safe and sound" could go a long way for this seller. With the delays in shipping and as I mentioned, my item arrived only a few days off 2 months from a reputable US seller, people are uneasy about even buying from the US let alone countries that some have never even heard of.

 

Feedback is there for a reason.

I doubt it, apart from one neutral they have perfect feedback and great DSR's. I have dealt with him before and will doubtless (along with other buyers) deal with him again.
