I just got an email from Paypal this morning saying that my account was now reactivated, thats about it.

What joy—my account is also locked.  I tried to follow through with the confirmation process, but at the first step, when trying to confirm my address, PayPal is displaying my first name incorrectly. They seem to have it recorded as 'Mr [First Initial] [Middle Initial]', so of course it doesn't match up with my address and throws an error.

Has anyone had any luck resolving this through PayPal messaging?
