queen.gifYou are more than welcome to elevate me from the peerage to royalty - any time!

I've known quite a few princesses in my time.

In fact, I've come across a few on here.

I wouldn't want to be "elevated" to their ranks.

I'm in the same situation, however I opened a eBay Resolution Center Case.

The seller stated that a Paypal transaction ID covered the refund.

When I checked with paypal, there was absolutely no refund and Paypal did not want to touch it.

Paypal gave the excuse that it was a transaction made through a guest account. Asked for my particulars and then refused to accept responsibility for the failed refund, or to acknowledge any fraud. Absolutely no piece of mind from Paypal.

I called the seller on it by messaging, and the seller provided me with a totally different paypal Trans. ID claiming the refund was through Paypal and I had to wait 3-5 days, more BS. Still no refund, and more BS from the seller.

The OP is right, the refund should have gone through to the original Payment Service Provider Afterpay not through Paypal.

It could be a genuine mistake on behalf of the seller not knowing the rules, however it looks more and more like a scam.

Paypal has nothing to do with Afterpay in such cases.

I have purchased many items using the Afterpay payment option and to my knowledge it had nothing to do with PayPal.

It was through Ebay that all the transactions were made and it's through Afterpay that the repayments are made it has nothing to do with PayPal.
