@janeababe - I was confused by the OP's response to that video. I found it off-putting and personally wouldn't have purchased knowing I was going to probably get a sub-par piece of equipment.

There are 2 things that come to mind:

1) Caveat Emptor

2) Buying cheap costs more money in the long run

Seriously, as mentioned countless times YOU AREN'T GOING TO GET THIS INSTRUMENT. Stop TRUSTING the seller. You have paid nearly 2 grand for this harp, plus nearly a grand on postage. That is an insane amount of money for most people. If you keep waiting, thinking you are going to receive this item, you are going to be out of pocket nearly 3 grand, and some scammer in Pakistan is going to be rubbing his grubby hands together because he's managed to scam yet another buyer. That is, YOU.

YOU AREN'T GOING TO RECEIVE THIS ITEM. OPEN A DAMMED DISPUTE and get your money back!!!!!!!

How many times do you need to be told??? It's your money. If you continue to "trust" this seller because he threw in a free bag, you are going to LOSE 3 THOUSAND DOLLARS. If you think losing 3 thousand dollars is acceptable, then you can probably afford to spend that amount of money at a local store. I can guarantee, unless you open a dispute, YOU WILL LOSE 3 THOUSAND DOLLARS.

I repeat, YOU AREN'T GOING TO RECEIVE THIS ITEM. REGARDLESS OF THE SELLER PROMISES. SHOULD I REPEAT? YOU AREN'T GOING TO RECEIVE THIS ITEM.

Very eloquently said.

@jellybirddesigns

I also note that the seller is registered in America.
So most likely drop-shipping harps from Pakistan.
I wouldn’t mind betting these harps are knock-offs!

This story just keeps giving! 😁

I note the OP has gone awol! 😎

I wonder why that is... not as though they have been yelled at or anything like that.

Better than being ripped off $3000 and turn up at the airport to find a bag full of drugs waiting for them instead of a harp

They were'nt willing to take notice of all the warnings from the seller's red flags, nor from numerous members who posted beforehand

Still the OP seems quite happy to take their chances so obviously whatever we say about the deal is moot

sandy... I agree that the OP seemed reluctant to take advice from the early replies... however a couple of the later replies I thought were OOT.

As you say it's up to them what they do from here... I don't think they will receive the harp.

I don't think drugs are an issue... they will receive nothing... hope they handle things correctly.

The seller now wants my email address so he can send me custom documents. He says he need my email address to complete the deal Previously when I tried send email address to seller ebay warned me that sharing my email address will strip my rights to access ebay protection schemes. Do you think seller is making me share email address for this reason?

CANCEL THE SALE!!!

How many times do you need to be told? You aren't getting a harp, you need to get your money back.
