Okay Cait, I'm up to speed now.

The harp has been collected, your space is your own.

The courier said it was received in good condition and ebay has approved the refund.

All good. It should be through any day now, your worries are almost over.

Cait, are there any harps made in Australia? Just wondering but I know we have lost a lot of our industries, so I am not sure.

I hope her next choice is not Bagpipes. lol

My unit has really good soundproof wall so never got a complaint. For now I will not be getting a second harp but if in the future I were to buy it I would buy from the same seller I bought from last year. I saw handmade harps on harpsaus websites and gumtrees but they seemed very old and needed lot of repair and real professional harps lile salvi and LH are out of my budget. I hope to get a pedal harp someday. Pity that pakistani harp seller don't manufacture affordable pedal harps

..are there any harps made in Australia? ....

I think the issue for the OP is, Australian made harps are outside her price range. Still worth looking at the sites in that link though, because you just never know. I clicked on one link (the top one). Most of his harps were $2,700. He did have some for $900, but they were 22 string, rather than 36 string.

I really love harp music. I'd love to see a video of the OP playing hers.

I think that first business in the link would have been ideal, s&d, but it looks as if he has closed for business, as of Aug 2021 as he said he had no stock left and wasn't taking any more orders. Such a pity, as his prices were within range for normal folk.

I checked out some of the other links and some are no longer operational.

Weissharps in Adelaide seems to have most in the $6000+ range. The Victorian Harps Australia, wow, the prices are eye watering, about $22,000.

It really does seem like a specialised industry.

I finally got a refund!

ebay sent me an email this morning

"Your case for this item has been resolved.

We’re sorry that you didn't receive your refund from the seller. The seller agreed to issue you a refund, but unfortunately, it looks like it was never sent.

Here's a summary of your refund. Refunds are typically available within 3-5 business days."

Maybe ebay took long to issue the refund because it was waiting for seller to refund me

Have you checked your account to see the money returned?

Only then, would I be doing a happy dance.

Also, are these eBay emails viewed via eBay, or via your personal email?
….something about the wording has me a little suspicious ……
