HELP! Ebay pickup issues

Hi all,



I am just in need of help, I have a friend who just recently purchased a piano from a seller, who offers pickup. He agreed to buy it, and went straight to the location of the pickup, now the problem is the piano cannot be taken out through the door, it just won't fit, so what is the procedure from here?



Can he refuse to buy it and all?


Please help.

Just ask the seller for a mutual cancellation.  He can hardly insist on your friend paying for something that cannot be delivered.

Most grands have legs that dismantle, and most uprights will fit through a door. Professional piano movers know a way, that's probably how it came to be inside the house.
