Beejeebus - we really have it bad.

"They" and "company" are both open to interpretation, as they can both mean the seller or eBay, but if the OP doesn't come back we will never know what she meant.

Wrong thread! That was posted in the thread about the fire extinguisher.

It's pretty clear the poster has no idea they are two different things when they talk about spending 'two hours' 'reviewing and writing comments that is required for every product'

Considering reviews are for products and feedback is for sellers

They are far from new or inexperienced

Especially when they don't even know they are posting their list of demands on a member to member forum

Feedback is voluntary.

Star rating is voluntary too, or optional to use the word the OP used. Or you can only rate one aspect and not the others. You don't click on the stars and then submit the feedback even after only entering one single word like "excellent". It really takes a few seconds to do that.

They could just put the letter A in the feedback line

No need to blatherskite on with all the things they are pretending is required

I have seen people leave a dot as feedback. I don't have much time either and am currently having lunch before going back to work (I never really have free time), but I always try to find a few minutes to leave feedback on all sites.

I guess that's why at some stage eBay thought that pre-filled feedback was a good idea. Most of us here hate(d) it, but obviously not everyone likes to write their own feedback.

You don't need to leave feedback at all unless you really want to and as someone else said, you only get 60 days anyway, so if you're looking at stuff you bought ages ago, you can let the guilt drop away.

You can't leave feedback for those even if you wanted to.

If I had hundreds of purchases banked up, I don't know that I'd fancy leaving feedback for therm all either.

If there is something recent that you do want to leave feedback for, you don't have to rate the stars for every category. I think you can just write a quick comment too and cut and paste. Bang, bang, bang, bang. Job done.

Or I've seen other buyers just write A+++

But really, if you feel overwhelmed, just skip feedback altogether. Don't go giving some poor seller a neg just because you're upset at the ebay set up. That is counter productive anyway as you'd just be wasting more of your time. You really are not 'required' to write feedback. It's an optional extra.

I did not know I could leave reviews in bulk. I just found a way. I was doing them 1by1 by completing one, then going back, clicking review, and then filling it out. I was finding this extremely time consuming, but it is a lot easier now having a long list where I can easily fill them out.

By the way, I wasn't threatening anyone, and if that's what it sounds, that wasn't my intention. I'm sorry if you felt that way. I know these are optional, I was just expressing my opinion. I just wished it was quicker to fill out in bulk, but now that I found a way, It's much easier. 😄

Is there a way I can fill them out using the iPad app?
