Hi simply-curious16, you have raised some good and valid points in your post. Because of this greed and a plethora of other things that relate to the Pitney Bowes GSP, I have reduced my time here and buy via other venues. Sad, because eBay back in the good old days was a great place to hang out.

Kudos to you for your post. 👍

simply asked their question and claimed they had solved it almost a year ago.

Validity? Given there are many more recent threads lambasting the GSP

4chan don't need no validity.... just finding a GSP thread gives them a rush.

But you as the buyer have total control over the use of Pitney Bowes,  if the seller uses it, don't use them,  easy really.

Oh dear goodness - he's back. LOL

Well hello there davewil164, I noticed that the OP is still active on the thread here just in the last week or so. I was impressed with what was written and the heartfelt nature of it. It is refreshing in this day and age that someone such as simply-curious16 has the guts to put feelings and experience into words as it has been done. This is to be applauded!

That may be so, but Pitney Bowe's does linger around and some times that desired item becomes unreachable otherwise.

They know the nature of collectors and that's why they have been able to exist IMO.

I avoid it myself as I have now put priorities in place. Others who are dedicated collectors often can't do that.
