Message does not state how the buyer paid. Only how to make an extra payment or use a different address for delivery. All very normal for sellers who use a courier or drop ship their items when sending to those in non metro areas.

Did you consult with the seller regarding any extra shipping charges. If not would explain the message. Did they have free postage offered in the listing.

This message came through ebay messages, I too suspected something when i saw "P-a-y-P-a-l" in the message.

maybe trying to bypass a email filter?

Another thing too in the description of the sale it does say down the bottom of the page

"PLS Note: For some remote areas, you need to pay the additional shipping charge.Consult us to verify the remote shipping address"

I change my comments from above, cough up the difference,  if it said there would be a fee,  not their fault you didnt read the description,

OP made no mention in their original post that they live in a remote area, nor what the listing said about contacting the seller if one did live in a remote area

The response given were 100% spot on for the information that was provided at the time

The extra information that was given after that rather changes things

it's just to say that the listing was "Free Standard Parcel Delivery" I should never believe anything till I read the whole listing, I don't come across these listings often.
