Unusual Payment

I received an email from PayPal stating I have made a payment of $xxxxxx. to Ebay Commerce on a given date giving Trans. I/D.  number Plus Inv.  number. also say the seller has not provided any shipping details. I checked & am unable to find a purchase on that date for that amount. Trying to find a way to get help from Ebay on this matter is for myself not possible. So I try this way. Can any assistance be offered.  thanking you

Login to PayPal in a new browser window, not using any link. Check your transaction history. If no such transaction, then the email was a scam/phishing attempt. Hopefully you didn’t click any links in the email.

Couuntessa,,,,  I did not click on any sus links.  I did in fact find the transaction. I was looking for the amount paid & kept missing it due to not adding on postage. However thank you for your reply cheers Paddler

So does that mean it's all good and it was a charge that indeed matched something you have purchased?
