Hi chezzy, do you have a VIEW tab at top of your search enging page ? Click on that & try reducing down a size or two.
Strangely the ad that is blocking you doesn't appear in your photo.
Lets hope we're not all in for this new glitch !! Us paying [meaning sellers] outside advertisers to block us searching ... what a joke !
I actually did a search on my items before I logged on, had cleared all history & cookies last night, so fresh start this morning. One item hoho, a BOOK, didn't even appear in my View Sellers Other Items. so just one more glitch among the hundreds or another black hole.
Good luck with getting your screen back to normal

No ads show now because I installed Adblocker Plus yesterday but removing the ad seemed to cause the other graphics further down the page to move up and cover things up instead.
What you can just see in the above picture is Popular on eBay and below that running down the right side of the page were several (random) pictures - not stuff I had been looking at.

And please believe me when I say I have tried everything suggested in these posts so far, including view/zooming/size. I even tried removing toolbars to no avail.
Was secretly hoping an IT wizz might pop along and understand what is going on.
eBay (live help) seemed adamant I should change my browser (because everything was fine their end) - I did that but the problem still occurs.

i had the same problem with an ebay ad partially covering the include description checkbox, thus not allowing me to check the box. Since you are also familiar with Adblock Plus for firefox, instead of blocking the ad, you can hide the ad (element) instead. It worked for me.

Hi again. I only just installed Adblock so I am not very familiar with it. How do I go about hiding the ad/element instead of blocking? Thanks in advance.

while these are all good suggestions, You are approaching the problem from the wrong end.
It is the fault of ebay, or rather their sloppy programmers.
All they need to do is place the checkbox in a frame that is not being overwritten by their ad.
If You do a search that returns a number of related searches like 'cat', then the 'related searches' frame forces the advert down so that You can see, and use the checkbox.
If You do a search that returns none, or very few, related searches like 'MAX7219', (it is a type of silicon chip), then the 'related searches' frame doesn't exist, or is too small to force the advert down.
Don't waste your time trying to download, reconfigure, adjust. Complain until ebay fix it!
My reference was 1-7385029312 on the 13th, and the ebay person I chatted with was friendly, helpful, and could replicate the problem, but it is still not fixed. X-(
