And in future, if you're not sure about a purchase, check your Purchase History linked at the top of the page. It will have a list of all purchases that have been registered .... you can pay for them from that point also.

If you bought them on a Friday afternoon then I would call ebay and ask them to cancel the transactions explaining that all you received were error messages saying the purchase had not gone through which is why you appear to have bought multiples. Tell them you have been advised that this probably happened because it was during ebay site maintenance.
If they don't agree then all you can do is explain to the sellers what happened and hope they will send a cancellation request.
This is the best advice... go with this one. 🙂

The problem there is as often the information is not showing while the are doing the maintenance and there is a message that shows this as well.
