I had a parcel come from QLD that took 4 days (I'm in Coffs Harbour) as it had to go to Sydney first, then to me.. Where a package coming from Tasmania only took 3 days

Hello Patchoo78, Did that happen to you as a one off (the parcel from QLD to SYD then Coffs? or does that happen to you all the time?  I usually keep an eye on my parcels through the Australia Post Tracking tool and haven't seen that happen before. So it would be interesting to get your feedback, as I'll keep it in mind for my future parcels. thanks

For some reason even if coming from QLD which isn't far from me, they all have to go to Sydney to the main mailing centre before coming to Coffs Harbour.. This is probably the first thing I've ordered from QLD and I could only see it went to Sydney first because it had tracking..

I asked Australia Post if this was a common occurance and they said it was normal for packages to go to Sydney first; but that was only for a package coming to Coffs Harbour, not sure about anywhere else
