Trust me when I say I would totally suck at it. :^O

When people look at me expectantly, the only thing I'm capable of doing is this: 😮

This is waaaayyyyy off topic but...

I tried stand up once (in my twenties)

and 😐 was what I got! (never tried it again)

I've always thought it would be really funny to ask the audience if they knew any funny jokes and if non were offered, walk off!

Judging from that you can probably see why I failed.

Anyway a coffee snort from me is my highest compliment.

Sorry for the diversion Belinda back to topic ...:-)

My disregard for buyer feedback stems from the fact that all (bar one) of my many hundred listings are BIN. I don't anticipate any change to my incentives to list that way.

So, the first I know about a buyer is when they buy. At which point their feedback is irrelevant. They pay (usually), I send; they don't pay (rarely), I don't send. And do the NPB thing to get my fees back.

Usually, the first time I note a buyer's feedback is when I leave them feedback. At which time it is irrelevant; they've already paid and I've posted.

Ah, then you are a braver person than I 🙂 - the only things I can manage to stammer out when people are waiting for me to say something are nonsensical  due to being completely out of context (I think a mile a minute, but often only blurt out the conclusion to my thoughts, so if I said anything at all, it would be a series of punchlines punctuated by severely awkward silence :8})

I never thought I'd say the following sentence (and not be sarcarstic in any way), but thanks for the coffee snort. :-x :^O

Why do some buyers get so hung up over feedback?

It means nothing to a buyer as it has to be positive or the seller leaves no feedback at all.

It does mean something to some buyers.

And some buyers get somewhat mifffed when a seller does not leave feedback after they have made payment.

Nothing posted on this thread, will change that.

No matter how many private posting IDs say otherwise.

This!

Again!!

Mine is not a private ID. Given that my previous post attached no importance to buyer feedback - above 10, where do I stand? In the punchline line?

BTW, spud, private IDs can only be had by those with NO items for sale. Generally they are buyers. Their opinions are irrelevant? As far as what buyers want? Shirley, you're not serious.

I didn't want everyone looking at the size 26 knickers I bought

You need to eat a bit more Bump, when I come back in November I have some size 32/34 g-strings which I may be brave enough to list:^O

You just got another one with that last line!

I am a buyer with private feedback. I only buy and have never sold. I'm close to three thousand feedbacks now and from the old days when one buy from a seller was your limit.

I'm red and I want a colour change !!!!

I pay my way as I always have. Without me there is no selling. So why do I rate so lowly with some of you sellers??

Give and take is the fair way to barter and that is what sellers need. A bit of respect and a positive feedback is not much to ask from a buyers point of view.

I buy pottery and I have received too many smashed pieces from fools trying to pack in cornflake packets with no padding to believe that buyers are all bad.
