If you use paypal and pick the item up you are not covered by paypal and neither is the seller.
You MUST pay for delivery to have paypal coverage.

If you pay for delivery and the item is posted then yes, you are covered. BUT NOT IF YOU PICK IT UP!!!!!!

What part of the above statements are not clear???
YOU ARE NOT COVERED BY PAYPAL IF YOU PICK THE ITEM UP.....NEITHER IS THE SELLER.
If you have the item posted you are covered by paypal if things go pearshaped....and it is no stress for paypal. They are used to disputes.
If you are so undecided about it all just give it a miss.

You are not covered by paypal if you pick this item up in any circumstance.
If you do not pay for delivery on an ebay/paypal invoice for any item you are not covered.
If you do pay for the item and delivery via paypal and then make alternate arrangements via ebay messages to pick it up anyway, it is likely you will also not be covered.
If you do pay for the item and delivery via paypal and then you do not receive the item (which seems extremely likely to be the case) then you may have buyer protection if the sender cannot provide proof of post to paypal.
If you do pay for the item and delivery via paypal and then receive the item and it is a cheap knock-off you will likely have to pay to have the item authenticated to prove that it is a replica. Given there is no photo and little description in the listing, a not as described case will be more difficult to win, than if there were clear photos of the goods and an adequate description.

I think fino is concerned there is no PayPal coverage even if sent, because of an earlier post stating that now pick up is mentioned in ebay messages, no coverage.
Keeping in mind even with coverage, depending on what lies the seller may use in a case or send an empty box with signature, PayPal may see in favour of seller and it could take you 6 months to try and sort out.
Definitely with belinda, it just rings alarm bells all the way. If you can't pick up, walk away.
If that is direct copy n paste, with all those grammatical errors, I think the person is new Australian or on a visiting visa and as you suspected a Hijacked account. The account hasn't been used for some time prior to this as well.
