I bought some cufflinks from aussietiesonline, however when I click on Pay Now I get this message: "

There is a problem with this website's security certificate.

The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.
We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website."

What does this mean? What should I do?

Thanks.

It isn't a strange message at all it's a security warning telling you that the certificate has expired and that you shouldn't continue otherwise if you do then you might have all your details stollen, its not that hard to understand.

Apparently there is an Ebay glitch at the moment advising buyers that all security certificates are invalid.

Are you using IE? If so change to Firefox or Chrome and the problem will disappear. It is actually perfectly safe to continue anyway, it is just that your browser hasn't caught up with the current certification.

It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.

See what a trendsetter I am?

Mines fine pj I've just noticed alot of others complaining

So how do I know if it's safe or not? How do I know if it is just a glitch or a real warning? Thankyou.

I had this message today when I went to pay from eBay.  So I opened it up from my email notification and had no problems.  After that eBay was fine. (I'm on Firefox).

Because if you pay via Paypal you are covered.

Plus everybody says it's a glitch and if you follow the instructions for alternative payment, it is no longer a glitch. And if you pay via Paypal you are covered.

I forgot to add, I paid by Paypal and I've already received an e-mail from the seller (US) to say payment has been received.

Ok, thanks everyone! Just wanted to make sure.
