postage question

Hi I bought 2 items from one seller, asked for invoice, the seller sent a combined invoice but did not reduce the postage - the invoice says "Australia Post Regular parcel + tracking $13.95";   fair enough I think, she must be sending in a 3 kg satchel.

So I pay and receive the items which have been sent in an ordinary envelope for $3 as a large letter (no tracking).

Any advice, please?

as you bid and purchased at the agreed postage price there is no way you can claim the money back from the seller.

however, when you leave the DSR stars you can mark his postage star appropriately.

have you emailed the seller and asked for an explanation?

maybe he'll refund some of the postage, but as said, he does not have to, as he charged what was quoted in the listing.

thank you putney for your quick reply.

So I can't address the issue that the invoice was for "parcel post with tracking"?

I am guessing you could give negative feedback and explain why, if you wanted to.

Leave them a NEG and 4 x 1s for DSRs ... (do not leave 0 as these do not count) ... then they might not shaft anyone else

In your opinion, why is the item not as described? Postage slow? Communication poor?

Typical pseudo-buyer.

I don't think so - I would write to the seller, it was probably an oversight.
