Maybe it is eady for me because I don't have hundreds of listings.
However should a buyer ask the bleedin' obvious I presume they have misread the listing or my listing isn't clear enough so it makes me reassess that listing.
I like buyers to ask questions, at least I know someone is interested in my items

Another poster wrote earlier in this thread:
Hi, I just tried to ask questions about three of your items and i received this response before I was even able to ask any question.
"We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing."
That is the response that appears when a buyer is blocked, either via their user ID or via a sellers general blocks - where a seller has also elected to block communications with buyers who do not meet their requirements.
Trying to contact a poster through their listings to elicit information to score points on the discussion boards when you have no intentions at all of trading with them, is a pretty low act I reckon.

Are you suggesting that those posters that post using selling accounts should have to tolerate malicious trading activity - such as receiving questions about items when poster has no intention of buying??
