Why I bought an item today and seller states bank deposit pay pal I decided to pay bank deposit but it took me straight to paypal for verification so I have no option I thought it was illegal

What did you think was illegal?

It is far safer to pay with paypal....you have no buyer protection at all if you pay by bank deposit.
