Was the date showing the electronic shipping info around the time of purchase or around the 8th March?
The seller would be able to prove to ebay when it was posted so if it wasn't on the date you stated the feedback could be removed.

The electronic postage info was only showing on the 8th of March. I had to contact the seller just to recieve it and funnily enough, it was the same day that I messaged him about the not recieved item. All dates were correct and true at the time.
I emailed eBay about it. Not sure how it will go though?

Grave digging time again
If gravedigging offends you maybe this is not the thread for you lol. Anyway...
Update: I emailed eBay and explained the situation. They said that the item was delivered in the time frame in the listing and that they removed the feedback because of this.
This is when I took action by sending a screenshot of an email from the seller with the date on it along with other info. They reviewed it and I am happy to say that I now have left my first negative feedback. I nearly feel bad about it but next time he may just post the item quicker, instead of waiting 5 days to post and poorly packaging the item. Of course, I will not be buying from him again though.

Oh, if anyone is wondering, I made a slight mistake in my feedback. The date I payed was the 06/03/2014. The item was not posted until 08/03/2014 according to my ebay purchase list. However, the feedback would only be worst if the dates were correct and I am happy enough with what I left.

A whole 2 days between purchase and postage. And I believe 6 March was a Thursday. And they posted on Saturday.
What is your problem?

The problem is, since you did not read my post properly....
I ordered a can of paint inside Australia. It took 3 weeks to arrive. You cannot tell me it takes 3 weeks inside Australia or you are telling fibs. I have bought enough items to know how long each item takes. In addition, the item was poorly packed and the lid was damaged as a result of this.
If you want positive feedback, how about delivering it within the timeframe in the listing.

delivering within the timeframe in the listing is a bit ambitious as the seller can not control the pace at which the delivery servioce actually delivers the item. The seller can control how fast they give the item to the delivery service but after that, nothing they can do. And it's not like Aus Post is completely reliable. They are well known for misdelivering items, sending them on a scenic tour and at times not at all.
Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

I understand your point but considering that it has never happened to me and his feedback tells the same story I am telling I do not think that is the case.
