The reason why some Sellers don't leave feedback (this is just my opinion)... A. They are very rude, B. they don't consider their customers as important, C they view their customers with contempt. D. They are too full of themselves to consider it necessary to say a simple "thank you for your purchase"  Sick and tired of hearing the comments, like "buyers want brownie points" etc, ridiculous childish saying at the very least.  Buyers, simply want a "thank you" by way of feedback. I don't deal with these rude types more than once.  There are just too many nice and polite and considerate Sellers to have to bother dealing with the rude, up themselves types. Also, tired of hearing "feedback is optional" well so are manners, I guess!  Most people don't return when they are treated with contempt.

Contempt ?

Not leaving feedback is in your opinion 'contempt' ?

Wow - the old saying - don't ask for what you may not like.....maybe a buyer decides not to leave FB because they have nothing positive to say, but don't wish to use FB in a retaliatory manner.

Maybe a seller doesn't leave FB because the only choice they have is Positive, and maybe, just maybe, for whatever reason, they didn't find the transaction a positive expereience.

If most buyers on eBay only purchased from sellers who left them FB in the past, they will miss out on a lot of bargains....

and if sellers decide to block a buyer because they didn't leave FB in the past, they are just shootng themselves in the foot.

No win, No lose, just a CHOICE we buyers and sellers BOTH have as deemed 'acceptable' by eBay.
