eBay Inc. To Ask eBay Users To Change Passwords

Hello,

Earlier today eBay Inc. announced it is aware of unauthorised access to eBay systems that may have exposed some customer information. There is no evidence that financial data was compromised and there is no evidence that PayPal or our customers have been affected by the unauthorised access to eBay systems. We are working with law enforcement and leading security experts to aggressively investigate the matter.

As a precaution, we will be asking all eBay users (both buyers and sellers) to change their passwords later today. As a global marketplace, nothing is more important to eBay than the security and trust of our customers. We regret any inconvenience or concern that this situation may cause you. We know our customers and partners have high expectations of us, and we are committed to ensuring a safe and secure online experience for you on any connected device.

Regards,

You may want to look into that while your at it. Smiley Wink

What a load of rubbish E-bay. If you are so concerned about making E-bay a safe and secure place to shop then WHY do you reove negative feedback from sellers feedback profile so that buyers can ssee how other members buying experience went. Buyers are purchasing from a lot of sellers who are protected by E-bay because of the money they generate and the buyer ends up with a poor E-bay experience because the negative feedback left for them is removed by E-bay and the buyer has no chance of knowing that the seller is a risk to buy from.

I have never seen Seller's feedback removed unless it contains very vulgar language, it personally identifies the seller, or is in the wrong category, e.g. a negative feedback left in the Positive section. Please elaborate....

You probably should take your rant  query to the Community Spirit board and start your own thread, this thread is specifically for issues relating to people changing their passwords, not feedback being removed
