Payment pending

Hi guys I recently paid for an eBay purchase vis PayPal, got the email to say payment sent etc but there is payment pending still on the item , not paid does anyone know what to do ?

I'd suggest contact the seller and see if they've recently had a change of PayPal ID that may not have linked to the item correctly (or thay didn't change the link eBay/PayPal)

 

or

 

See if it is showing their end as awaiting clearance of an echeque as this recently happened to a Buyer of mine and they were as bemused about this echeque thing as I was.

Sometimes PayPal will automatically send an echeque as a safety measure if an account has had a lot of purchases or purchases of high values. It is not noticeable in checkout and many buyers are unaware it happens.

 

That is the reason I send the buyer a message if I receive an echeque so they don't think I am slow in dispatch.

 

"Dear buyer, Thank you for your purchases. As payment was made via echeque, it requires clearance by PayPal and that can take between 5-7 days. As soon as your payment clears, I shall send your items. Regards,

 

Dear buyer, The payment cleared today and your items were sent today. Thank you.

Check your paypal account to see if the payment status is showing as unclaimed.

This can happen if a new seller has not upgraded their account to receive payments. And it can also happen if there is a typo in the paypal address in the original listing.
