This will not answer your question, but I have bought a lot of porcelain from o'seas & if the seller uses the GSP, I message them before buying to see if they are willing to ship 'normally'....I have only been refused once....and saved a lot of money 🙂

Hi Pirate, You are not alone on this one. The GSP is IMO the worst for Rare Items. ( any for that matter) In the future, if I saw something that I wanted to purchase, I would contact the seller and ask them not to use the service at all and could they use another ?
You read so much about this carp Service. To keep it brief. Don't use it, it's Rubbish.

I have to say, that even though I said that I never would, I did use it for a reasonably heavy item, and I was surprised at the postage cost and the fast delivery. Maybe I was lucky. The seller I bought from was quite a high volume business. But not a chain store.

I put pretty much what you've said on ebay UK to warn UK sellers (I buy a lot from there) but they removed it...

For heavy, bulky items the GSP is far cheaper and much quicker than USPS. Small stuff, forget it!
