Cathy it was a very common comlaint on the boards for a while some time ago although it was for much higher priced items. In many cases where people camer to the boards and were given the advice to go for the jugular with both ebay and Paypal some did get their money back.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

Little bit early to open a case against them, isn't it?
And yeah, you should know better than to buy from a seller with 63% feedback.

The feedback is only recent, it wasnt there when I purchased.
I didnt notice the incorrect category either.
Yes I had suspicions re the price for that item but hey, I figured at best he listed it incorrectly and I'd score a bargain and at worst it was a scam and I'd be able to get my money back through Ebays buyer protection.
You'll notice that the item is listed with the buyer protection on the ad.
but so far neither paypal or ebay will alow a claim as its in the wrong category?

There are no dates on the feedback any more.....all we can see is that it was left in the last month.

That's great news regarding buyer protection for your purchase.

They are scam listings,(they don't have the items so you will not get your item).
Reprt it via: http://ocsnext.ebay.com.au/ocs/cusr?query=1491&levelHierarchy=5a2
These are the same type of items as the ones they list in the go-karts and pocket bike categories,(they avoid
detectiond and buyer aren't covered in those categories).
You need to report them as being sold by a scammer and follow through on the dispute(once they are NARU'd
you'll get a refund).
Edit: It looks like you'll get a refund but please follow though stating that they are scam listings.
