If you report the first post it removes the whole thread.

Thank you lyndal1838 I have done what you suggested.

It was a bit of a shame because another member had replied saying their son had virtually an identical experience! The parent actually witnessed the son leaving negative feedback for a seller which did not contravene feedback policy. It still disappeared!

Going by another thread did you agree to a mutual cancellation?

If yes then this voids leaving a neg as you are saying you agree to the out come if you agree to the cancel transaction request.

No.
...and what about the two other negs that disappeared at the same time as mine?

Maybe they did agree to a mutual cancellation.

Maybe they did agree to a mutual cancellation.

Although the other two negs were less than a year old they were still far too old for that.
Btw don't you think it's unnerving that somebody else has experienced the same thing?

But the other thread was explained easily as the buyer had agreed to a mutual cancellation.
Any feedback would have been removed as a mutual cancellation means that the transaction never happened....no transaction, no feedback.

I have had he same experience also !!!!!!! I was very careful to be only factual and follow all ebays feedback policies....... I was totally truthful and factual....... IT HAS JUST DISSAPPEARED !!! I wrote to Ebay and asked why and how but have not had a single reply or explanation.....VERY UNFAIR

Call ebay if you have concerns,. As long as you were factual and not emotional negs should stand. For some reason ebay sometimes bows down to high volume sellers and emails don't cut it. Call them and have the facts shown!
