How do you get private listing - bidders' identities protected

I have noticed when bidding for items on ebay some bidders have a listing of "private listing - bidders' identities protected". How do you change you normal user name to this private listing???

Private Listings are set up by the seller when they create the listing....the buyer cannot do it.

Just to add, your ID is concealed on the bidding anyway, for example you would be something like s*****n. If you log out and then log in without your ID you'll see what I mean.

Unless you are private buyer like you and I which will show as private when you bid on an item.

It is only the feedback that is Private on my account.   No-one can see any feedback that I have received.

In a list of bidders on an auction my ID is seen the same as everyone else......a***b or whatever.
