Postage Policy Overrides

I am using Business Policies.

I have 7 listings (out of 24) on one of our auction IDs where I am getting a message that these listings have policy overrides for this listing.

And as a result I cannot select my standard postage business policy for the listings.

For the life of me I cannot see what these overrides are and they have certainly not been knowingly added.

So I wish to cancel the overrides (whatever they are) and just choose my standard policy.

But I cannot see how to clear the overrides??

I've tried changing the policy and it gives a warning that overrides will be removed if I do this but when I reselect the standard policy the override message comes back again. arrgghh! **pulls rest of hair out**

Anyone know how I can do this.

It looks like you're on your own on this one.

I'd probably take potluck and go ahead and change the policy so that the overrides are removed. If you're worried about those listings, do sell similar and save them in drafts first.

The 7x listings that are being complained about are still active.

So when these end (they are auctions) I will see if perhaps that resolves the problem.

Thanks EnglishRose.

Perhaps someone with more knowledge than I will see this post and have a better suggestion.

It's a case of finding someone who's had the same problem and been able to fix it, and your problem sounds rather unusual to say the least!

Hate the business policy layout with a passion, give me the classic style any day.

It seems to have corrected itself.

Once the 7x listings ended that were causing the problem I was able to delete the policy that had been attached.

Now or new listings are all using the correct policies.

So all is good now. But still do not know how it happened.

Yes thanks clarry for solving it 5 years ago Woman Surprised

Back when stamps were 70c and Parcel Post was under $7 (I think...)

Looks like 2015 me hated the new style eBay layout just as much as 2020 me does!

I changed my business policies about a week ago and am getting inundated with buyers telling me they want to buy items but it's saying that I don't post to their location..

This is what comes up on my postage now..
