You asked a simple question OP

Who's in the wrong?.

A unanimous 'You are' was given.

If you don't like the answers you are getting here either move on and forget about it or find another forum sympathetic to your (lost) cause.

I guess I've been born on the era of no one believe each other anymore.

---------------------------------

Things aren't as bad as that, but when you are selling on ebay to strangers, you are doing a business deal & you have to be business-like.

The buyer may or may not have believed you when you said you had been away on a cruise but the fact is they probably still felt annoyed at how you handled the whole transaction.

I do believe it is possible to forget something is on ebay, but again, you need to be more businesslike-maybe list auction end dates in a  diary or whatever.

Or maybe something as simple and easy as ending listings before walking out the door.

Or born of an era where it's always someone else's fault but your own.
