The book brings back memories - I had a Sheltie that was the spitting image of the dog on the cover.

Did you suggest they perhaps contact the Shetland Sheepdog Club in their state for information?

My dogs can't read.
Will this book be of any use to them?

Please, put me out of my misery, check the book and tell us all!

I'd never thought of it before reading your post and now it's something I simply must know!

I'd suspect so but, only if your cat were able to pick the book up and keep a good grip on it while using it to flog the poor, helpless moodle  Smiley Very Happy

I hope you told them that Shelties are not suitable for small backyards.  They would be bored out of their brain and cause havoc unless the owners are prepared to walk them for several hours a day.

well are they?

Lol

Dont take on any responsibility by answering the question -You dont know this person or their lifestyle, but they are a customer, and you should provide an appropriate reply.

Just tell them youre an Ebay seller, and to contact a Shetland Society / Club in their area to find out more about the needs of the breed (as Chezzy said).

I have known plenty of people who have big dogs or working dogs in small backyards and its not a problem because these people lead such active lives and their dogs are always with them. I know others who live on acreage who couldnt cope with a working dog.  It depends on their lifestyle.
