To others reading this thread please be very careful about posting information like DOB's on a public forum due to the possibility of identity theft, I appreciate that it's an outside chance but it's a chance all the same.

Every piece of information gleaned by unscrupulous people can add up to a problem in the future.

yes i have read it.  but arnt we talking about  posting websites names.  mmmmmmmmmmm

why havent you pointed that  out when these websites were mentioned by other posters.  mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Block,rinse and repeat.

Joe, you really need to read posts fully and correctly before responding, you make yourself look silly commenting on what is right in front of you.  The text in read is what you are looking for, and the underlined red text gives more detail.

Yes it is. It is also against board policy to

Posting item listing reports or member violations.

ie. members that may have not sent an item, members that may have misdescribed an item, or may have

misrepresented an item in any sale.

So Joe in essence as per the posting policy posts on these boards posters cannot address a specific sale, item or the

problems that the member may be encountering with another member.

Posts however can ask for help, advice or comment generally about ther situation they find themselves in.

Just my interpretation though Joe..... you carry on regardless

can i put a website on a post

thanks colic

Already answered above Joe, sigh.

Yes, you can put a website in a post (provided it is not a commercial website including offers to trade, in other words another online shopping website), but you can't put it in a thread title.

Cheers,

Penny

so the mentioned website is fine to post

and can a poster ask the op if they would like to put an item number up  is alright also.

is this correct, as i am getting different answers from you and colic

please straight yes and no thanks

and you have been very helpful.thanks
