Made in India out of bone for the tourist market. You can't judge age from latches/hinges as they still use these in SE Asia/India presently. You still see items like this in India/Nepal now, you think its antique but was probably made last week. Could be from 1960s up to current day. Its worth what someone literally wants to pay for it.
