Yes a personal account can receive Credit card payments and I am pretty sure there is no limit on the amount receivable if your account is verified anyway.

A Personal Account can only receive credit card payments if it is a personal transaction....not if it is a payment for goods.

There are fees associated with CC transfers that do not apply if you receive bank account or paypal balance payments.

You cannot sell on ebay using a Personal Account...you need to upgrade to a Premium account.

Thanks, 247newdeals. It's good to know there is no amount limit, do you know if there is a limited number of times that we can receive the credit card payments, e.g. 10 times only? Thanks.

Maybe some of your questions could also be answered by Paypal.

The website has a "Help" section where you can find answers to common questions, and a "Contact" section where you can call Paypal directly.

Unless there has been a change I have forgotten about then the answer is that you can accept a limited number of credit card payments using a personal account. When a card payment is made you receive a message to say you have a pending payment and you have to log into ebay to accept it, onc e you have reached the limit, 3 I think, then you will be told you have to upgrade to accept the payment.

If you are a seller you really should upgrade before you start so that you have seller protection against spurious claims.
