Ah, therein lies the problem....
The book has been 'delivered' on 14th December, no one there...
The satchel should have been taken back to the PO and recipient carded. After a fortnight, it should have been returned to me.
Not gonna happen, so we all lose pffft

I totally agree with you Lyndal
I too have a great Postie and the parcel contractor is one of the best ever and I let them know how much they are appreciated whenever our paths cross - it seems to be the system needs sorting not those at the start or the end of the journey.
I had never had problems with late and misdirected mail until the last 12 months or so but instead of the occasional hiccup it was, I am finding that 50% of my items make good time, 40% seems to take longer than eBay estimates and there are about 10% that take a scenic route. Apart from this particular issue, I am still trying to sort out two major malfunctions with AP from November - no joy yet.
I keep an eye on items posted and sometimes have to email a Buyer letting them know that an item is waiting for collection and they say they were unaware of being carded.
I feel sorry for the good AP employees who have to face the unhappy response from the public to the 'bad' sections of Ap.
Take Care - Jo
