how long til a refund request times out?

30 days from sale date, return request opened, or last message within return request?

 

Sorry, I know its been answered a hundred times, Ive looked, cant find it.

It's (supposed to be) 30 days from the date the request was opened (and presuming it's not escalated), but the one I had (for a COM return where the buyer never ended up following through), took a bit over that (somewhere between 35 and 40 days >_> ).
