You get an email, set up your computer to beep when you get an email.

If you put the eBay app on your phone, it makes a cute "ka-ching" sound if you get a sale or enquiry, although I'm not fussed on using the app, it at least lets me know to check the PC or laptop.

Rarely these days.

Used to be cthe only useful part of the app, but now rarely works.
